Social Value
At Peartree, we believe true social value comes from investing in our people, supporting our communities, and creating opportunities that make a lasting difference. Our strategy is built around inclusivity, wellbeing, and meaningful partnerships that deliver real impact.
Building a Community
With over 1,400 employees, many from South American Spanish-speaking communities, inclusivity and belonging are at the heart of our culture. We actively listen to our teams and support their aspirations, ensuring that every colleague feels valued and empowered.
Recent initiatives include:
- Free mortgage advice for all staff
- Cycle to Work scheme to support healthier, greener commuting
- Investment in professional growth, with three managers currently completing Level 5 apprenticeships

Rewards, Training & Wellbeing
We prioritise the wellbeing and development of our people:
- Reward Gateway – discounts, perks, and recognition programmes
- Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) – confidential support for mental, financial, and emotional wellbeing
- Peartree Training App – multilingual, BICSc-aligned modules for compliance, skills, and career development
- Specialist training – including Mental Health First Aider courses to promote a safe and supportive workplace
Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships play a key role in our commitment to people development, combining practical learning with formal qualifications.
- Emma – Bid Manager: Joined on a Business Administration apprenticeship in 2021, now leads our bid function and was named Apprentice of the Year 2023 at The Hill Club.
- Emily – Sales Executive Apprentice: Building her skills in sales and client engagement while contributing to business growth.
- Leadership Development: Three managers are completing Level 5 apprenticeships in leadership and management.
- Apprenticeship Levy Gifting: We’ve supported Mosaic, a mental health charity, by funding a Level 7 CIPD qualification through our levy gifting.
Apprenticeships at Peartree are more than training — they are pathways to long-term careers, leadership opportunities, and service excellence.

Partnerships for Change
We collaborate with organisations that drive meaningful impact, including:
- Beam – helping people experiencing homelessness into housing and employment
- SNAP (Special Needs and Parents) – supporting families through a recent £5,000 donation
- Mosaic – funded apprenticeship training to strengthen their workforce capability
Volunteering and Donations
From food bank volunteering to in-office donation drives, our teams are committed to supporting local causes. We also work alongside clients to deliver collaborative volunteer days, ensuring our social value activity creates measurable community impact.

Our Commitment
Social value is a cornerstone of our ethos. By investing in our people, supporting communities, and building strong partnerships, we go beyond cleaning spaces — we help create brighter futures for our colleagues, clients, and communities alike.
