Peartree reports 17% growth boosted by £5.2m in new business

We have reported 17% growth for the financial year ending 31st August 2026, following £5.2 million of new business wins.

The result is almost double our average annual growth of over 9% over the past decade and comes against a challenging backdrop for the sector, with increases to the National Living Wage and employer National Insurance contributions placing sustained pressure on labour-intensive businesses.

Our growth has been driven by a combination of new business wins, successful contract pretenders and continued expansion with existing clients. Corporate office contracts across the legal, banking and financial services sectors were among the strongest drivers of growth during the year, alongside technology, media and sport.

We achieved a 98% client retention rate and renewed our contract with the General Medical Council, continuing a relationship that now spans 25 years.

As we mark 40 years in business, Peartree now operates across more than 350 sites and employs around 1,500 colleagues.

We are also continuing to build our presence in Scotland, where we already support a broad portfolio of corporate office and headquarters contracts and have a current new business pipeline worth more than £500,000. Scotland remains a key area for future growth.

Growth has also gone hand in hand with environmental progress. In 2024/25, we reduced total emissions by 6.3% while revenue increased by 7.9%, with emissions per £1 million of turnover falling by 13.2%.

Brad Reames, Managing Director, said:

“17% growth is a solid result given the pressures businesses across our sector have faced.

As an independent, family-run business, we can take a long-term view and invest in the people, systems and infrastructure we need as we grow. The important thing for us is to keep building the business while maintaining the service and relationships our clients expect.”

Max Reames, Senior Business Development Manager, added:

“Corporate offices have been a particularly strong area for us this year, alongside existing clients choosing to expand the work they do with us.

Buyers are looking beyond price to the overall value and resilience of a contract, including consistency, transparency and management support. That is creating opportunities for independent providers like us.”
