A Double Triumph for Peartree at the 2026 Golden Services Awards

We are delighted to announce that Peartree Cleaning Services has been honoured with two prestigious accolades at the 2026 Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service Awards.

Established over 30 years ago, this event is widely recognised as the premier awards programme within the FM and contract cleaning sectors across the UK and Ireland.

The winners were announced during a formal ceremony on Thursday 21st May, at the Hilton Park Lane in London, with the year’s judging process independently overseen by the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc).

Our success spans two highly distinct corporate environments, demonstrating the versatility, meticulous attention to detail and operational expertise of our onsite teams. In the category of “Best Cleaned Premises for Office Areas Below 10,000 Square Metres”, the trophy was awarded to Mario Pereira, representing the team at Schroders in Horsham.

The judge noted:

“While visiting the site, I certainly got my steps in! It was an absolute joy to be on site and experience this energy firsthand. Every team member I met was full of enthusiasm and demonstrated a real passion for their work, which clearly translates into the exceptional cleaning standards across the site. Well done to everyone!”

We achieved further success in the Leisure and Hospitality category, where Peartree was named the winner for our operations at Farnborough Airport, represented by Carlos Arias. The unique and varied challenges presented by an aviation environment require a high level of care, and the official judge’s commentary highlighted how seamlessly the team handles these demands, stating:

“The site presents a variety of challenges, making it truly unique. What stood out most was how the company embraces those challenges and consistently rises to meet them without hesitation. During my walk around, I was unable to find anything out of place, which reflects the high level of care and attention to detail maintained throughout.”

We were also proud to be named finalists in the Cleaning Team of the Year category for our operations at BT One Braham, led by Site Manager Carla Silva. Serving a busy headquarters of over 2,000 employees, Carla’s team of 21 operatives and supervisors consistently delivers to the highest standard - earning direct client commendations for their responsiveness, adaptability and genuine pride in their work.

While celebrating these site victories, we also wish to shine a spotlight on our individual finalists. Stuart Conroy and Georgianna Hull were officially nominated for the Sustainability Leadership award category.

Particular recognition goes to Georgianna, who led the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) services validation of our sustainability roadmap, as well as securing Ecovadis Gold accreditation for two years running and Neutral Carbon Zone Gold, an achievement unique to our industry. This milestone underscores our corporate commitment to delivering tangible, scientifically validated ESG progress. Neill Spencer-Cook, Group Managing Director at BICSc, echoed this sentiment on stage, highlighting ESG as a standout priority and a defining theme for the future of the industry.

At Peartree, our growth and reputation are built on the dedication of our people. Reflecting on the standard of this year’s entries, the BICSc judging panel highlighted a prominent industry shift toward valuing staff, enhancing working conditions, and driving operational efficiency. These awards belong first and foremost to our exceptional onsite cleaning operatives and supervisors. Their enthusiasm, resilience in navigating complex operational environments, and unwavering commitment to client satisfaction are what set our service delivery apart.

We extend our sincere congratulations to our teams at Schroders and Farnborough Airport, to our individual nominees, and to all fellow industry finalists who contributed to an exceptional showcase of excellence.
