Peartree wins International Green Apple Award

We’re proud to have won an International Green Apple Environment Award, recognising our progress in reducing carbon emissions while continuing to grow as a business.

Our entry, ‘Growing Greener: Decoupling Business Growth from Carbon’, was recognised in the Service Industries category for Environmental Improvement. Selected from more than 700 entries worldwide, the award will be presented at the House of Lords on 23 November 2026.

During the 2024/25 financial year, we achieved a 6.3% reduction in total carbon emissions, while revenue increased by 7.9%. Emissions per £1 million of turnover fell by 13.2%, while emissions per full-time equivalent employee decreased by 9.9%.

Scope 3 emissions, which account for more than 97% of our total carbon footprint, also fell by 6.7%.

This progress reflects our continued focus on supplier engagement, site-level environmental monitoring and practical measures to reduce waste, plastics and emissions across our operations and supply chain.

We have also retained our EcoVadis Gold rating and secured Neutral Carbon Zone Gold Certification. Our emissions reduction targets have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and are aligned with limiting global warming to 1.5°C.

Georgie Hull, our ESG Manager, commented:

“This award is an important recognition of the work taking place across Peartree to embed sustainability into everyday decision-making. Our progress has involved colleagues, clients and suppliers and demonstrates what can be achieved through clear targets, consistent measurement and practical action.”
