Peartree was founded in 1986 by our Managing Director, Bradley Reames, with one simple ambition: to build a cleaning company clients could genuinely rely on.
What started as one man knocking on doors across Essex has grown into one of the UK’s leading independent commercial cleaning companies. Four decades later, we’re still family owned, still independently run and still focused on building long-term relationships rather than short-term growth.

A Family Business in Every Sense
Peartree has always been about people.
Today, Bradley’s sister, Claire Fowler, is our Health, Safety & Environmental Director and has helped shape our industry-leading approach to quality, compliance and sustainability for nearly three decades. Bradley’s sons, Max and Bradley, have also built their careers within the business, helping drive the next generation of innovation, commercial growth and client relationships.
The family extends far beyond the Reames name. Many of our senior leadership team are shareholders in the business, giving them a genuine personal investment in our long-term success and in the service we deliver to every client.

Looking After Our People
One of the things we’re most proud of is the culture we’ve built.
At Peartree, everyone is treated as part of the family. As Bradley explains:

Building the next generation
While we’re proud of our heritage, we’re equally excited about the future.
Max Reames leads our Business Development function, bringing experience gained in procurement before joining the family business, while Bradley Reames has progressed from an apprenticeship in the finance team into a Commercial Management role, developing the next generation of client relationships and commercial leadership.
Their progression reflects something we believe strongly: great businesses aren’t inherited—they’re learned from the ground up.
