In September 2018 they moved to their new building at One London Wall Place, Schroders new UK Head Quarters. The building occupies over 400,000 square feet of office space including, 14 terraces, welfare centre, auditorium, restaurants and gym.

The Requirements

Our client requires a multi-layered service solution that encompasses a wide remit directly employed and supply partner staff.

Services range from Daily Office Cleaning, Housekeeping, Window & Façade Cleaning, Carpet Cleaning, Hard Floor Maintenance, External Grounds Cleaning, IT Cleaning, Kitchen Deep Cleaning, Preventative Pest Control, Recycling & Waste Management, Confidential Secure Shredding, Laundry Services, Washroom Services, Washroom Consumables, Internal and External Horticulture.

Through a very rigorous process, presentations, audits and meetings; Schroders awarded a five-year contract to Peartree in May 2018, which will extend our relationship to 11 years from the original mobilisation of services at their previous headquarters in August 2012.

Our Solution

Our approach to One London Wall Place drew on all our experience and strong supplier partnerships to integrate the various elements into a one team approach. Based on the size and complexity of the requirements we appointed a dedicated Account Director embedded within the client’s FM team.

We clearly defined the tasks where directly employed staff would produce the best results and those tasks where a multi expert approach by one of our preferred partners would give the best outcome for our client. Delivering this one team approach requires a clear vision and concise communications with all our team. It would also not have been possible without the support of the staff, supply partners and of course the client.

Our investment in a senior and experienced in-situ Management team ensures that we engage at the appropriate level with our client. We deliver the service streams as a single solution with suppliers who share our culture and service delivery ethos.
To ensure the Account Director can fully focus on the customer’s needs we removed the vast majority of administration duties; with our Head office team managing the vetting, payroll, training, H&S, Environmental and Supplier Management. This ensures our dedicated team can focus on providing a best in class service, every day.
