Now the UK has left the European Union, recruiting cleaning staff will become more difficult in the future. Already we are seeing the impact of Brexit on the cleaning industry, and at Peartree we want to attract and retain a loyal and committed workforce delivering service excellence for our clients. Not only do we want to offer attractive pay rates, but we also need to provide our staff with a rewards package that will make their wages go further.

In June we launched Peartree & Me, an easy-to-use benefits platform open to all Peartree staff. The Peartree and Me App gives our employees and their families significant discounts from 8000 retailers on everyday items. As well as cycle to work schemes, childcare, gyms, or private medical care. Peartree and Me is designed to retain great staff and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our people.

A key feature of Peartree & Me is the direct access to our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP). Employee wellbeing has never been more important as we begin to emerge from the Covid 19 Pandemic and Lockdown. We provide all our employees free one-to-one counselling and advice from experts in mental health, family care and money matters. The EAP team can assist further by providing coaching, support, and the tools our employees need to be the best versions of themselves both at home and at work.

The Wellbeing Section is filled with hundreds of videos and tips from wellness experts to support our employees in their quest to lead healthier lives in three key pillars: Physical, Mental and Financial.
