Providing training to a multi location part-time work force is no easy task, particularly where English is not a first language. Classroom training is often not a viable option as these employees tend to have other employment or domestic commitments.
To overcome this industry problem, we produced a bi lingual training DVD enabling us to bring the classroom to the work place. Training can be delivered in the three most common spoken languages within our workforce, Spanish, Portuguese and Polish.
The training tool covers induction, Health & Safety, product and equipment use and most importantly how to perform cleaning tasks. All of which, helps to ensure every individual contributes towards the highest possible standards of service.
In October 2006 we were runners up in the Annual BIFM award for innovation which recognised this training programme.
Management and key personnel training is provided by Merton College and specifically tailored to our needs.
