Peartree's Environmental Performance Stats 2011

We have received the feedback from our annual audit and the feedback is excellent!

·         Internal Audit performance – Compliance rate of 89% - a 9% improvement over 2010

 

·         On-line Customer satisfaction monitoring  – High levels of positive feedback was given with the range of ‘satisfaction’ being 95.5% of all respondents.

 

·         Q1 2011 site RAG audits - Performance score range of 97.6% to 99.86%.

 

·         Client quarterly reports scoring results (‘visible’ and ‘non-visible’ criteria) – Performance scores of 89% to 99% noted.

 

·         Accident Incidence Rate (Total number of accidents (& near misses) per 1,000 employees) - 19.49 (all non-reportable and a reduction from an incident rate of 23.6 in 2010).

·         Hazard & Risk Control – total number of risk assessments where residual risk has been reduced to ‘low’ rating - 93.9%

 

·         Vehicle fleet CO2 reduction – 8% reduction in CO2 tonnes - achieved while additional business miles had been travelled.

 

·         Fuel use efficiency improvement – 2009 fuel use was 0.1828 litres /mile whereas 2011 fuel use was only 0.1571 litres /mile – this is a 14% improvement in fuel efficiency.

 

·         Revenue generated per litre of fuel used – 2009 revenue per litre was £217.65 whereas 2011 revenue per litre was £266.35 – this is a 22.4% improvement in fuel used to £ turnover generated.

 

·         Landfill waste level for 2010 was 2.97 tonnes (based on carrier feedback). A review of actual 2011 landfill waste indicated a reduced level of ~2.0 tonnes (extrapolated) – this is a further 10% reduction on 2010 levels.

 

·         Electricity - 2010 year-end analysis indicated an overall 2009 to 2010 reduction of 15.4% in KWh electricity usage (ahead of target).

 

·         Paper source – Increased level of recycled paper in use (up by 17% in 2011) and all paper purchased is from a sustainable source (FSC certified).

 

·         Paper use – Reduction in paper use of 44.8% in 2011 compared to 2010 (achieved via electronic systems, reduced chemical use and environmental awareness)
